Happy Halloween!

October 31st, 2009

As I’m getting ready to leave for Charlotte for what’s sure to be an enjoyable evening as Dwight Schrute, I had a few links I wanted to post from this past week’s work.

Video: Jazz night with the Greg Ayers’ Trio at Market 202
Game of the week: Salem crushes Hidden Valley, 28-0
Healing together (graphic, not video)

Enjoy! [...]

The search continues for missing Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington, who vanished after a Metallica concert Oct. 17.
I produced this video last week of a vigil held for Harrington at Northside High School in Roanoke.

Creigh Deeds video

October 21st, 2009

I already posted this link, but since it showed up on the HamptonRoads.tv site, I’m able to embed it! (something I’m not able to do with videos on roanoke.com)

Back in the real world, here are some [...]

Updated UNDER21 project

October 5th, 2009

New stories, stats and videos in The Roanoke Times’ Under21 package.
Just wanted to drop the link in here before it becomes too untimely. I was a little too busy last week with roanoke.com and my fantasy football team - I dropped to 2-2, btw.

October 1st, 2009

The VarsityCast page has been updated with the three-part midseason recap show. There will be a feature video coming soon on the William Fleming High School drumline.
Overall, I think the VarsityCast videos are really catching on in the community. In the past month alone, we’ve seen nearly 13,000 unique visitors and 18,000 overall [...]
